Bhubaneswar: The Central University of Orissa on Monday advertised for admission to various programmes through the entrance examination. The University will conduct the entrance test at 14 centres — Baleswar, Baripada, Berhampur, Bhadrak, Bhawanipatana, Bhubanewswar, Keonjhar, Koraput, Kolkata, Rourkela, Ranchi, Raipur, Sambalpur and Vishakapatnam, according to a university release.
This year the University offers PG, UG courses like B.C.A, B.A and B.Ed., 5 years Integrated in Mathematics, M.A in Economics, English, Hindi, Journalism and Mass Communication, Odia, Sanskrit, Sociology; M.Sc. in Anthropology, Applied Statistics and Informatics, Bio-Diversity and Conservation of Natural Resources along with Ph.D in selected subjects.
The Entrance examination for the above will be conducted on 1st and 2nd July 2017. The last date of submission of online application form is 9th June 2017 and receiving of hard copy of the filled in form is 16th June 2017.
Central University of Orissa, Koraput was established by the Act of Parliament in 2009. The University has its permanent campus of 430.9 acre at Sunabeda. It has fully furnished separate boy’s and girl’s hostels, library facilities, and transport facilities, computer centers with internet, student’s health care, canteen and ambulance service.
