Bhubaneswar: The four-day Khandagiri-Udaygiri Mahotsav, organised by the state tourism dpartment in association with department of culture, Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) and Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA), came to an end here on Sunday.
The concluding event was marked by classical and folk dances, popular Odia and Hindi songs performed by the well-known artists.
Women & Child Development minister Prafulla Samal, former minister Debi Prasad Mishra, Tourism & Culture minister Ashok Chandra Panda and BMC Mayor Ananta Narayan Jena graced the event in the presence of local corporators.
The first programme of the evening, Gotipua Dance, was performed by Nakshatra Dance Group followed by the Prince Dance Group.
Besides, artists of Abhijit Mazumdar Group performed Odia and Hindi popular songs.
Foodies thronged the food court near the open air auditorium and savoured local delicacies. ORMAS had put up 10 stalls, where different products of self help groups (SHGs) were displayed. This apart, Boyanika, OIMSEAS, ASI, State Museum, State Archives, Odisha Khadi and Gramodyog Board, State Tourism department and Lalit Kala Academy also put up their stalls at the venue.
