Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC), on Wednesday, demanded a compensation of Rs 30 lakh for the family of the person, who died in police custody in Sambalpur district recently.
“The party strongly condemns the incident and demands a thorough probe into the matter by a sitting judge of Orissa High Court. We have also decided to stage demonstration at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi and meet the President of India seeking his immediate intervention into the issue.
