Cuttack: Senior BJD leader and former Barabati-Cuttack MLA Debasish Samantray on Wednesday refuted the allegations of his party colleague and Cuttack MP Bhartruhari Mahtab on the proposed Netaji Bus Terminal in Khan Nagar area here.
Talking to mediapersons, Samantray said the statement of Mahtab that he had no knowledge about the location of the proposed bus terminal is not true. Foundation stone for the bus terminal was laid by the Chief Minister on January 23.
“How come a ruling party MP had no information about the location of the proposed bus terminal when I being a former MLA could know it? Let me tell you that the Cuttack Collector has informed the MP about the location of the bus terminal,” he said.
Hinting at Mahatab, Samantray said those opposing the location have encroached some areas where the bus terminal will be constructed.
