Cuttack Collector Cancels Leave Despite Father’s Demise

Cuttack: Showing exemplary resolve and commitment in the wake of the outbreak of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), Cuttack Collector Bhabani Shankar Chaini cancelled his leave despite the death of his father on Tuesday.

The Collector came to know about the passing away of his 98-year-old father Damodar Chaini in the morning. Despite that, he decided not to take leave to discharge his duties for the people during the lockdown period.

In a tweet, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik praised the Cuttack Collector for his commitment.
