Cuttack: Ignoring the danger to his own life, a traffic constable has saved the lives of four pedestrians in Cuttack.
It so happened that the braveheart, Lalit Mohan Nayak, was manning the Sikharpur traffic post on Saturday. Suddenly, a speeding trailer broke the traffic signal and hurtled towards four persons crossing the road at that time. Without wasting a moment, Lalit jumped out of his post and stood in front of the trailer, forcing it to stop.
People present at the scene were stunned by the traffic cop’s self-less act and praised him for his bravery.
