Cuttack: After a long wait, the Silver City will finally get its first INOX. The multi-screen cinema complex inside SBGL SQUARE Mall, near Town Hall, will be inaugurated by popular Bollywood actor Bipasha Basu and other stars here on Friday.
The mall houses retail stores such as FBB, Patanjali, Red Tape and more. The erstwhile Durga-Devi cinema halls were located on the same land.
The multiplex will have four screens, while the one at Bhawani Mall, Bhubaneswar, has three.
‘Race 3’ will be the first Bollywood movie to be screened here, along with two Odia films. Online ticket bookings have been started and can be done at www.inoxmovies.com.
A couple of more multiplexes are expected to open up in the twin cities. INOX has already put up a board at Symphony Mall, Palasuni, and Cinepolis has done the same at Esplanade Mall, Rasulgarh. Both these malls are under construction. There are talks of PVR setting up shop in the Odisha capital.
