Cuttack: The online sale of foreign liquor in Odisha’s Cuttack city will begin from Monday.
A decision to this effect was taken after a meeting between the district collector Bhabani Shankar Chayani and the Cuttack District Foreign Liquor Traders’ Association on Sunday afternoon.
Briefing the media after the meeting, the collector said the customers can place their order from 7 am to 1 pm and the liquor will be delivered to them between 1 pm and 6 pm.
He further said only the persons engaged by the liquor shop owners will make home delivery and no online companies will be roped in for the purpose.
