Cuttack Reports Two More COVID-19 Deaths, Odisha Toll Rises To 409

Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 toll in Odisha rose to 409 on Sunday with 10 more patients succumbing to the virus in the last 24 hours.

The new fatalities were reported from Ganjam (3), Cuttack (2), Rayagada (2), Gajapati (1), Balangir (1) and Nayagarh (1).

The Health Department has identified the deceased as:

1. A 47-year-old male of Balangir district who was also suffering from Diabetes.

2. A 87-year-old female of Cuttack district who was also suffering from Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, Hypertension and Old Cerebro Vascular Accident.

3. A 75-year-old male of Cuttack district who was also suffering from Diabetes, Hypothyroidism, Chronic Kidney Disease and Old Cerebro Vascular Accident.

4. A 45-year-old male of Gajapati district who was also suffering from Diabetes.

5. A 60-year-old male of Ganjam district who was also suffering from Diabetes, Hypertension and Chronic Kidney Disease.

6. A 61-year-old male of Ganjam district.

7. A 70-year-old male of Ganjam district who was also suffering from Diabetesa and morbid obesity.

8. A 58-year-old male of Nayagarh district who was also suffering from Diabetes.

9. A 56-year-old male of Rayagada district.

10. A 45-year-old male of Rayagada district.

With these 10 new casualties, the virus has so far claimed 174 lives in Ganjam district, followed by 54 in Khurda, 26 in Sundargarh, 23 in Cuttack, 21 in Rayagada, 17 in Gajapati, 11 in Nayagarh, 10 in Puri, nine in Sambalpur, eight in Balasore, six in Kandhamal and Bhadrak, five each in Bargarh and Keonjhar, four each in Jajpur, Malkangiri and Angul, three each in Koraput, Balangir and Kendrapada, two each in Sonepur, Dhenkanal, Mayurbhanj, Jagatsinghpur and Kalahandi and one each in Jharsuguda and Nabarangpur districts.
