Cuttack: Odisha’s Cuttack will soon join the list of cities whose skylines are defined by their clock towers.
A 50-ft tall, four-faced clock tower is coming up at Ranihat Square. The project worth Rs 50 lakh, part of the city’s beautification plans, will be completed by October, according to media reports.
The clock tower is coming up on the newly constructed road connecting the proposed expanded campus of SCB Medical College and Hospital at Ranihat Square.
The tower will be 12-ft wide at the base and 30-ft tall, while the width will be 8 ft at the top.
