Cuttack’s Corona Count Crosses 700, Know Details Of 81 New Cases

Cuttack: As many as 81 new COVID-19 positive cases were reported in Cuttack on Friday, pushing the district’s tally to 702.

According to the Cuttack district administration, 55 cases were reported from Acharya Harihar Regional Cancer Centre (AHRCC), 13 from Athagarh, six from SCB Medical College and Hospital (SCBMCH), four from Tigiria, two from Tangia and one from SUM Hospital.


Earlier, the Cuttack Municipal Corporation had restricted people from visiting its office from July 2 to 17 in view of the rising COVID-19 cases in the city.

Earlier, two nurses, five patients, an attendant and a staffer of the Aahaar Centre on the AHRCC premises were found infected.

With four deaths and 491 recoveries, Cuttack district now has 206 active coronavirus cases.
