Cuttack’s Shailabala Women’s College Hosts International Webinar

Cuttack: The first international webinar of the Alumni Webinar series was organised by Department of Physics of Shailabala Women’s Autonomous College, here on Sunday.

An alumni of the college and PhD scholar of Institute of Nuclear Physics, University of Münster, Germany, Archita Rani Dash, delivered her presentation on the topic – ‘Probing the Big Bang with the Little Bangs at Large Hadron Collider – World’s most Powerful Particle Accelerateor ‘. She focused on the basics of Big Bang Hypothesis.

Dr. Surekha Sundari Swain of the college presided over the meeting while Dr. Biswadas Mohanty, HoD Physics gave the guest introduction.

Member IQAC, Dr Pritipragyan Ray, Secretary Tripda Pratik, Harapriya, Tripada and other students helped in organising the webinar successfully. Dr. Anita Mekap proposed vote of thanks.
