New Delhi: Automobile maker Honda’s plants in India and Brazil had to pause operations because of a cyber-attack on the company’s internal servers.
The attack spread a virus in the computers that affected 11 Honda plants, including 5 in the US and one each in Brazil, India, and Turkey. The four-wheeler factory in Turkey and the ones in the US resumed operations on Wednesday.
In India and Brazil, the motorcycle plants were affected.
The company is investigating the details of the attack.
