Bhubaneswar: Unidentified miscreants fired on an employee of a cyber cafe, seriously injuring him, near Bomikhal Durga Mandap here on Thursday night.
The victim identified as Manoranjan Behera was admitted to a private hospital here in critical condition.
Two assailant reportedly came on a motorcycle and fired on Manoranjan. They fled the spot immediately after committing the crime. Police seized a gun from the spot. “Though the reason behind the firing is yet to be ascertained, it is suspected to be the fallout of past enmity,” a police officer informed.
