Bhubaneswar: Police Commissioner YB Khurania on Friday inaugurated the e-library and Cyber Investigation Training Cell of Commissionerate Police at the police headquarters here.
He highlighted the need to upgrade the skills of investigating officers to crack cyber crime cases, which are being increasingly reported with more people using computers and mobile phones.
To enhance cyber investigation capacity and knowledge of police officers, the cell has been equipped with basic tools.
E-library will provide officers, an easy access to Manupatra website, which has all the judgments of the Supreme Court of India and other High Courts pronounced since 1950. It also has access to central/state acts, rules and regulations, judgments of various tribunals and commissions, among others.
