Puri: A cyclist died after being hit by a car, carrying some tourists, on Begunia-Patelia Road at Konark on Sunday morning.
The mishap took place when the deceased, identified as Rabindra Bhoi of Patelia village, was heading towards Begunia. After hitting the cyclist, the car rammed a roadside tree, sources said.
On being informed, police rushed to the spot and took Rabindra to Gop community health centre where he was declared ‘brought dead’.
