Kalahandi: Two persons were killed and as many critically injured in a road accident at Jayapatna of Baner in Kalahandi district on Wednesday night.
The identity of the deceased and the injured is yet to be ascertained.
Notably, a cyclist died on the spot after being hit by a speeding truck. Following which, the driver of the truck lost control over the vehicle and rammed a tree. The truck overturned, killing a minor boy, who was sitting in the front of the vehicle.
The driver and the helper sustained injuries and were rushed to Jayapatna hospital.
