Visakhapatnam: All inbound and outbound flights from Visakhapatnam airport in Andhra Pradesh were cancelled on Tuesday in view of severe cyclonic storm Asani.
IndiGo cancelled all its flights to and from Visakhapatnam. AirAsia cancelled its Delhi-Visakhapatnam and Bengaluru-Visakhapatnam flights.
Air India cancelled its Mumbai-Raipur-Visakhapatnam and Delhi-Visakhapatnam flights.
On Monday also, flight operations at the airport were hit due to bad weather. Flights from Kurnool, Bengaluru and Hyderabad could not land at the airport and diverted.
