Cyclone Bulbul: One More Odisha District Declares School Holidays

With cyclonic storm Bulbul all set to cause heavy to very heavy rain, thunderstorms, strong winds and surge over Odisha and West Bengal on Friday and Saturday, one more district administration has declared holidays for schools and Anganwadi centres on both these days.

The district administration in Jajpur has announced closure of both government and private schools. Puri, Jagatsinghpur and Kendrapara district administration on Thursday had declared holidays for schools and anganwadi centres on on Friday and Saturday.

Special Relief Commissioner Pradeep Jena on Thursday had also informed that all schools in Balasore, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Mayurbhanj and Jajpur districts will remain closed on Saturday.
