Bhubaneswar: With Severe Cyclone ‘Dana’ moving on its course to hit Odisha coast between Thursday midnight and Friday morning with wind speed gusting upto 120 kmph, state government and several essential service peroviders have issued helpline numbers.
With chief minister Mohan Charan Majhi calling for ensuring “zero casualty” due to the cyclone, the state machinery has geared up to keep the damage minimum.
As part of the measures, the government has released emergency helpline phone numbers to assist people in 15 districts including area under the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC).
Control rooms have also been set up to oversee the rescue and relief efforts. The toll-free number for Cyclone Dana is 1077 while every district has its own control room numbers. District-wise phone numbers are given below:

Tata Power Helpline
Tata Power distribution companies of different regions have also opened their helpline numbers to assist the consumers in resolving electricity related problems during the cyclone.
The Tata Power Northern Odisha Distribution Limited (TPNODL) encourages consumers to report any power-related emergencies to its 24×7 toll-free helpline number 1800-345-6718/1912. Quick-response teams have been strategically placed across key areas to address outages and other issues promptly, it said.
The Tata Power Central Odisha Distribution Limited (TPCODL) has opened its 24×7 toll-free helpline number of 1912/18003457122.
Similarly, the Tata Power Southern Odisha Distribution Limited (TPSODL) has activated its toll-free helpline numbers 1912 or 1800-345-6797.
BJD Phone Numbers
The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) has asked all its leaders and workers, including elected representatives, to provide necessary assistance to people affected by the cyclone in the state.
The party has issued helpline phone numbers – 9937057528 and 8984303534.
Stating that its workers and leaders are ready to extend all necessary help in areas likely to be affected by the cyclone, BJD urged the people to remain alert and face the cyclone successfully in a united manner.
