Bhubaneswar: Rainfall has commenced in several parts of coastal Odisha under the influence of Cyclone ‘Dana’, which is expected to hit the coast close to Bhitakanika and Dhamra by October 24-25.
The regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued orange warning for five districts of Odisha till 6.40 pm on Wednesday. Light to moderate rain/thundershower with one or two spells of intense rain is likely to affect some parts of Bhadrak, Balasore, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj and Jajpur districts in three hours.
