Bhubaneswar: Nandankanan Zoological Park, on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar, will remain out of bounds for visitors on October 24 and 25 in view of Cyclone Dana’s landfall along Odisha coast close to Bhitakanika and Dhamra.
The wind speed in Khurda district is likely to be 60 to 70 kmph gusting to 80 kmph during the landfall of the severe cyclonic storm on October 24-25. Heavy to very heavy rainfall (7 to 20cm) may also lash Khurda on October 24. The intensity of rain will slightly drop the following day.

The government had earlier rescheduled the annual terracotta exhibition ‘Mruttika-2024’ to October 25.
Meanwhile, Bhitarkanika National Park in Kendrapada district has been closed for three days from Wednesday and tourists have been asked to leave by evening.
