Balugan: The motorboat association of Chilika has decided to stop ferrying in the lake for five days from May 1.
Acting on the directive of the Khurda district administration, the Kalijai Motorboat Association has decided not to allow fishing inside the lake from May 1 to 5. In a notice to all boat owners, it has asked them to ensure that no tourist is allowed inside the lake during this period.
All motorboats and country boats will be brought to the shore of the lake by the morning of May 1, the notice added.
