Cyclone Fani: Plus II Evaluation Put On Hold In Coastal Districts Of Odisha

Bhubaneswar: In view of the extremely severe cyclonic storm, Fani, the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) on Thursday decided to put the ongoing evaluation of the annual Plus II papers on hold in all coastal districts of Odisha from Friday.

Informing this to mediapersons here, deputy controller of examinations, CHSE, Prashant Das, said keeping in view that the cyclonic storm was most likely to affect coastal districts, the evaluation of Plus II papers will be put on hold from Friday.

“The Council will announce the date for resumption of evaluation in the coastal districts after May 4,” he said.

Das, however, said that barring coastal districts evaluation in the remaining districts will continue as usual.
