Bhubaneswar: The cyclonic storm Gulab crossed Odisha-Andhra Pradesh coasts at 8.30 pm on Sunday, said Special Relief Commissioner Pradeep Jena in his latest tweet.
“The Cyclonic Storm GULAB crossed north Andhra Pradesh and south Odisha coasts, about 20 km north of Kalingapatnam and lay centred over north Andhra Pradesh at 8.30 pm on Sep 26,” the SRC said in the tweet.
Earlier, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said the cyclone lay centred about 25 km from Kalingapattnum in Andhra Pradesh and was moving westwards from Gopalpur in Odisha.
