Bhubaneswar: Ten days after the devastating cyclonic storm Fani ravaged the coastal districts of Odisha, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Sunday announced pucca houses for the affected families.
“All families whose houses are completely or substantially damaged in the extremely severe cyclonic storm Fani will be sanctioned pucca houses,” the Chief Minister told the media.
He said the house damage assessment will begin from May 15 and will be completed within a week.
Stating that the senior officials will be appointed in all the extremely severely affected blocks to supervise the assessment process, the Chief Minister said the work order distribution to the beneficiaries will begin from June 1.
“I assure that all-out efforts will be put so that not a single eligible person is left out,” he pointed out.
