Cyclone Yaas: Expected Wind Speed In Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Balasore & Other Odisha Cities

Bhubaneswar: Cyclone Yaas is all set to make landfall during the early hours of Wednesday between Basudevpur in Bhadrak district and Bahanaga in Balasore district. This is slightly north of Dhamra port.

The cyclone is expected to hit at around 140-155 kmph gusting to 180 kmph. It is likely to move northwards.

Wind speeds expected:

Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapada, Bhadrak: 140-155kmph gusting to 180kmph
Mayurbhanj – 120-130kmph gusting to 145 kmph
Puri, Cuttack, Khurda – 80-90 kmph gusting to 100 kmph
Ganjam – 60-80 kmph gusting to 90 kmph
