Cyclone Yaas: No Vaccination In Six Odisha Districts Today

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government has decided to suspend vaccination in six districts on Tuesday, which are likely to be affected by very severe cyclonic storm Yaas.

The districts are Balasore, Bhadrak, Mayurbhanj, Jagatsinghpur
Jajpur and Kendrapada. These districts fall in the red zones with more than 1000 active cases.

3,954- Balasore

2,984 -Bhadrak

4,602 – Jajpur

1,461 – Kendrapada

4,526 – Mayurbhanj

2,472 – Jagatsinghpur

Sessions have been planned at 608 sites.

Vaccine availability:

Covaxin: 21,570

Covishield: 3,58,880

The state has so far vaccinated 103246 eligible beneficiaries.
