Cuttack: Vigilance sleuths on Monday claimed to have unearthed disproportionate assets (DA) worth Rs 85 lakh of assistant executive engineer (drainage division), Cuttack, Bigyan Kumar Beuria.
Acting on specific complaints of financial irregularities, simultaneous raids were conducted at Beuria’s houses at Baramunda Housing Board Colony, Jaydev Vihar and Patia in Bhubaneswar and Chorda in Jajpur district.
Besides, his offices located at Gadarpur and Nayabazaar in Cuttack were also raided.
Several important documents and papers were seized during the raid, vigilance sources said.
