Kalahandi: Vigilance sleuths on Thursday conducted raids at four places, including the residence and office of Kendupati Panchayat Executive Officer (PEO) Trinath Sahoo on charges of amassing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
Sahoo’s residence near Nuapada Jaleswar temple in Bhawanipatna of Kalahandi district along with his parental house at Sarlanji village was raided by the anti-corruption officials for his alleged involvement in misappropriation of funds under MGNREGS.
On Wednesday, similar raids were conducted on houses and offices of Balasore RTO Amaresh Patra and Buguda Ranger Prasanna Sahu.
