Bhubaneswar: Odisha vigilance on Friday arrested Integrated Tribal Development Agency (ITDA) Project Administrator of Bonai in Sundargarh district, Biswadarsi Sahoo, on charges of accumulating assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
During the Thursday raids at seven places, the vigilance sleuths unearthed a multi-storey building & 2 flats (Rs.1.50 crore advance paid for purchasing one flat) in Bhubaneswar, 9 high-value plots in Bhubaneswar (7) and Puri (2), gold weighing 150 gram, Rs 4.51 lakh in cash and deposits of over Rs 61 lakhs, the source of which the government official could not explain satisfactorily, an official release said.
Assets detected during house searches are as follows:
1. One double-storey residential building over 3600 sqft area at Sriram Nagar, Old Town, vide Plot No.1813/3941, Mouza-Unit-27, Bhubaneswar.
2. A flat over 1500 sqft area on 3rd floor of Bhagwan Tower, Laxmisagar, Bhubaneswar
3. Advance payment of Rs.1.50 crore to realtor to purchase Flat No.402 (under construction), 4th floor, EVOS Galaxy, Unit-3, Kharvela Nagar, Bhubaneswar.
4. 9 high-value plots in and around Bhubaneswar & Puri.
5. Rs 4,05,000 in cash
6. Bank & Insurance deposits over Rs 61,42,676
7. Gold jewellery weighing 150 gram.
8. 1 four-wheeler (Tiago) & 4 two-wheelers.
