Dacoits Loot Family At Gunpoint In Odisha’s Kalahandi

Bhawanipatna: Police on Saturday launched a manhunt to nab a gang of dacoits who committed am armed robbery at a house at Motera village in Kokasara block in Kalahandi district on Friday night.

According to sources, five dacoits wearing masks barged into the house of one Jajati Pattajoshi and looted 400 grams of gold, a TV and motorcycle after threatening the family members at gunpoint.

Before leaving the place, the dacoits locked the family members inside a room.

Later, the family alerted their neighbours, who called police.

A team from Dharmagarh police station rushed to the village on Saturday and began an investigation.
