Cuttack: Armed dacoits looted cash and ornaments worth around Rs 12 crore from the office of India Infoline Finance Limited (IIFL) in the city’s Naya Sadak area on Thursday morning.
Cuttack DCP Prateek Singh said four dacoits wearing masks barged into the finance company office around 9 am. They threatened the IIFL staffers at gunpoint and looted the cash and ornaments.
The DCP said police are talking to the IIFL staffers to ascertain details and also examining CCTV footage to identify the dacoits.
Till reports last came in, a forensic team was carrying out an on-the-spot investigation.
