Dacoity Bid Foiled, 5 Held In Odisha’s Dhenkanal

Dhenkanal: In a major success, police foiled a dacoity attempt and arrested five persons in Rasol area of Odisha’s Dhenkanal district.

According to information, Rasol Police nabbed the five dacoits from a forest area when they were making plans for a major dacoity.

The dacoits had come in a car with West Bengal registration number. After getting information from a reliable source, police personnel from Rasol nabbed the dacoits when they were planning to execute a dacoity.

Police have seized illegal weapons, six mobile phones, from their possession. Based on information obtained during interrogation of the five, police also seized a bike that had been stolen from Naukiari area a few days back.
