Bhubaneswar: After reporting 50 new COVID-19 cases for two consecutive days, the Odisha capital on Monday saw a slight drop in daily caseload with 32 people testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
According to Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), 26 of these cases are local contacts, while six are from quarantine.
Among them, eight cases have been reported from an institute near Gajapati Nagar and three from a private school near Patia.
The last 24 hours also saw 10 patients getting cured of the infection.
With this, the affected tally has touched 3,23,96. The city now has 241 active cases.
