Daily COVID-19 Caseload Nears 90 In Odisha

Bhubaneswar: After reporting less than 70 new COVID-19 cases for three consecutive days, Odisha’s daily caseload almost touched 90 on Thursday.

According to the I & PR Department, the last 24 hours saw 89 new infections from 19 districts.

Among them, 53 are from quarantine centres while 36 are local contacts.

Sambalpur district registered the highest of 14 cases, followed by Balasore (9) and Khurda (9).

  17. Sambalpur: 14
  18. Sonepur: 5
  19. Sundargarh: 8
  20. State Pool: 1

The number of positive cases in Odisha now stands at 336924 and 623 among them are active.
