Cuttack: In a good news for the people of the city, the daily COVID-19 positive cases on Sunday dropped by almost half of Saturday’s count.
According to Cuttack Municipal Corporation, 17 positive cases were reported in the last 24 hours compared to 32 patients on Saturday. The city has been witnessing less than 50 daily tally for the last one week. The figure was 55 on November 8.
While 7 patients were from institutional quarantine centres, 10 were local contacts.
The disease has claimed 78 lives while there are 536 active cases in the city at present.
