Daily COVID-19 Cases In Odisha Drops Further, TPR 0.62%; Check Details

Bhubaneswar: The daily COVID-19 caseload in Odisha further dropped to 339 cases on Thursday, including 69 in the 0-18 age group testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.

The state reported 342 cases on February 23 and 428 cases on February 22.

Notably, the state has been reporting less than 500 new infections since February 20.

According to the I & PR Department, 199 fresh cases are from quarantine and 140 local contacts.

  13. Jharsuguda: 12
  14. Kalahandi: 4
  15. Kandhamal: 2
  16. Kendrapada: 5
  17. Khurda: 36
  18. Koraput: 16
  19. Malkangiri: 1
  20. Mayurbhanj: 19
  21. Nawarangpur: 3
  22. Nayagarh: 4
  23. Nuapada: 1
  24. Puri: 1
  25. Rayagada: 6
  26. Sambalpur: 14
  27. Sonepur: 8
  28. Sundargarh: 80

Besides, 9 are from the state pool.

With 54,396 samples tested in the last 24 hours, the test positivity rate (TPR) stood at 0.62 per cent.

Odisha now has 3,862 active cases.
