Bhubaneswar: Odisha reported the highest spike of 1709 in daily COVID-19 caseload since October 24, which took the affected tally to 2,91,825 on Sunday.
These cases were detected from 46045 COVID tests conducted on Saturday.
According to I & PR department, 985 are quarantine and 724 local contact cases.
Khurda reported the highest 221 cases followed by Mayurbhanj (121), Cuttack (115), Sundargarh (107), Bargarh (99), Nuapada (86), Angul (79), Kalahandi (72), Keonjhar (72), Jagatsinghpur (68), Dhenkanal (64), Balasore (61), Puri (58), Balangir (53), Kendrapada (50), Sambalpur (43), Jajpur (41), Malkangiri (39), Koraput (38), Nayagarh (29), Jharsuguda (28), Nabarangpur (26), Kandhamal (20), Ganjam (19), Boudh (18), Rayagada (16), Bhadrak (11), Deogarh (9), Sonepur (7), Gajapati (4).
