Bhubaneswar: The daily COVID-19 positive cases in the Capital City, which were around 20 for the last one week, crossed 50 on Sunday. The number was 50 on Saturday.
Most of 51 new cases of the day are from local contacts. According to Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), 45 new cases are local contacts, while six are from quarantine.
With this, the affected tally in the city has touched 3,23,64. There are 219 active cases in the city at present.
Meanwhile, 11 patients recovered from the disease on the day.
