Bhubaneswar: In a marked improvement in COVID-19 situation in Odisha, only nine districts reported recovery in double-digit figures on Friday.
Of 244 patients recovered from the disease on the day, 32 were from Angul, 28 from Sambalpur, 24 from Bargarh, 23 from Cuttack, 17 from Sundargarh, 15 each from Jajpur and Jharsuguda, 14 from Balasore and 10 from Kendrapada, according to Health and Family Welfare department.
The recoveries from other districts are as follow:
8 from Balangir
7 each from Keonjhar and Khurda
6 each from Jagatsinghpur and Mayurbhanj
4 each from Kalahandi and Malkangiri
3 each from Boudh, Nabarangpur, Nayagarh and Sonepur
2 from Nuapada
1 each from Deogarh, Ganjam, Kandhamal and Koraput
6 from State Pool
