Daily COVID Caseload Goes Up Again In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: The daily COVID caseload in the city went up to 200 on Tuesday. It had come down to 173 on Monday from 293 on Sunday.

The new cases included 61 from quarantine and 139 local contacts, according to Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC).

Of the local contact cases, maximum 11 cases were reported from Patia, followed by 7 from Saheed Nagar and 6 each from Mancheswar and Baramunda.

 

While 255 more patients have recovered from the disease, the toll climbed to 995 with one more death being confirmed in the last 24 hours.

The city now has 3,199 active cases while the affected tally have gone up to 1,06,932, the BMC stated.
