Bhubaneswar: The daily COVID caseload in Odisha crossed 200 again on Tuesday with 212 more people testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
While 171 cases were detected on Monday, 205 were found infected on Sunday, 239 on Saturday, and 242 on Friday.
According to the I & PR department, 123 of the new cases are from quarantine and 89 local contacts. Among them, 70 are in the 0-18 years age group.
Khurda reported the highest of 90 infections, followed by Sundargarh (39) and Mayurbhanj (13). No new infections have been detected in 14 districts.

With these cases being detected from 48,143 samples, the test positivity rate (TPR) stood at 0.44 per cent. The TPR was 0.29 per cent on Monday, 0.40 per cent on Sunday, 0.41 per cent on Saturday, and 0.42 per cent on Friday.
While the COVD-19 tally in the state reached 10,47,386, Odisha now has 2,191active cases.
