Bhubaneswar: The COVID caseload in Odisha remained below 400 for the third consecutive day on Wednesday as 322 people, including 42 in the age group of 0-18 years, tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
The state had reported 327 new cases on Tuesday and 316 on Monday.
According to the I & PR department, 187 of the new infections are from quarantine and 135 local contacts. Khurda district registered the highest 169 cases, followed by Cuttack (19) and Sambalpur (10). Five districts reported nil cases.

Besides, 39 are from the state pool.
With these cases detected from 61,542 samples, the test positivity rate dropped to 0.52 per cent. The TPR was 0.65 per cent on Tuesday.
While the COVID-19 tally has touched 1042422, Odisha now has 4,000 active cases.
