Daily COVID Caseload Rises For 2nd Consecutive Day In Odisha, Active Tally Below 700

Bhubaneswar: Odisha on Saturday reported a rise in daily COVID caseload for the second consecutive day with 82 cases registered in the last 24 hours, against 63 cases on Friday and 49 cases on Thursday.

According to the I & PR Department, 48 cases are from quarantine and 34 cases are from local contacts. Among the new cases, 10 are in the 0-18 age group. The state has 623 active cases currently.

13. Nabarangpur: 1
14. Nayagarh: 2
15. Nuapada: 3
16. Puri: 11
17. Rayagada: 2
18. Sambalpur: 3
19. Sundargarh: 14

Besides, only three are from the state pool.

With 8,840 samples tested in the last 24 hours, the test positivity rate (TPR) stands at 0.92%.
