Bhubaneswar: The COVID cases continued to rise in the capital city with 372 people testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours against 311 infections on Friday. The city had reported 283 cases on Thursday.
Of the new cases, 87 were from quarantine and 285 were local contacts, Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) stated in its tweet.
The city logged 226 recoveries while there are 1,371 active cases. The number of deceased has touched 616 with 21 more deaths registered in the city during the period.
A total of 93,558 patients have recovered from the virus and the total cases are 95,566.
