Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s daily COVID-19 cases crossed 500-mark on Saturday as total 512 new patients were registered across the state.
New positive cases include 59 in the age group of 0-18 years while 212 persons were infected by local contacts, according to I&PR department. As many as 300 infected persons are in quarantine.

Besides the cases from the districts, there were 51 cases from state pool. With recovery of 204 more patients from the disease, total recovered cases have gone up to 12,80,954. Total positive cases have reached 12,92,928 while there are 2,795 active cases in the state at present, the department stated in a tweet.
