Bhubaneswar: A day after recording more than 300 new COVID cases, the daily tally in Odisha dropped to 269 positives in the last 24 hours. The state had reported 328 cases on Wednesday and 231 on Tuesday.
According to the I & PR department, 157 new cases are from quarantine and 112 local contacts. Among them, 48 are in the age group of 0-18 years.

Besides, 15 are from the state pool.
With these cases being detected from 14,642 samples, the test positivity rate (TPR) also increased and stood at 1.83%. The active tally in the state continued to remain below the 2,000 mark at 1,685.
