Bhubaneswar: After a day’s gap, daily COVID cases in Odisha increased to above 200 on Tuesday with 231 infections being registered in the last 24 hours against 179 cases o
n Monday. The state had reported 221 cases on Saturday.
According to the I & PR department, 136 new cases are from quarantine and 95 local contacts. Among them, 37 are in the age group of 0-18 years.

The active tally in the state continued to remain below the 2,000 mark at 1,578.
