Daily COVID Cases Remain Above 200 In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: Even as Khurda continued to register highest number of daily COVID cases among the districts, Odisha capital in the district accounted for most of the positive patients.

Out of 352 COVID positive cases in Khurda in the last 24 hours, 237 were reported from Bhubaneswar, according to Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC).

Maximum 45 cases were registered from Patia in Bhubaneswar, followed by 25 cases in Old Town, 18 in Nayapalli, 17 in Chandrasekharpur and 15 each in Kalinga Nagar and Patrapada.

While 219 patients have recovered from the disease, the COVID active cases have gone up from 1322 to 1340 in the city.

The total confirmed cases have gone up to 1,61,748 and 1,59,194 patients have recovered. Total 1,193 patients have succumbed to the disease so far.
